Tell us, what inspired the start of your backpacking journey?

Backpacking started as a way for me to break free from the routine and experience the world in a more immersive and authentic way. The idea of packing light, hitting the road, and discovering hidden gems off the beaten path was incredibly appealing. The sense of freedom and adventure that comes with backpacking is unparalleled, and it has since become a huge part of who I am. Plus, the people you meet and the stories you
collect along the way make every trip truly unforgettable.

Where has been your favourite place to travel so far?

Australia has been a top favourite – the beaches, wildlife, and laid-back vibe are incredible. The Philippines is another favourite for its stunning islands, crystal-clear waters, and friendly locals. The sheer beauty of places like Palawan and Cebu is unforgettable. Vietnam also holds a special place in my heart, with its rich history, delicious cuisine, and vibrant cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Each of these countries offers something truly unique and unforgettable.

Sustainability within travel

How do you incorporate sustainability into your travelling lifestyle?

Sustainability is a big focus
for me. I try to minimise my carbon footprint by using public transport, biking, or walking whenever possible. I also try to stay in eco-friendly accommodations and support local businesses. I carry reusable items like water bottles, shopping bags, and utensils to reduce waste. Additionally, I’m conscious of the impact of my travels on local environments and communities, always aiming to leave a positive footprint wherever I go.

I'm beyond excited about my upcoming adventures! I just touched down in Australia, and I’m ready to explore the stunning east coast. Over the next couple of months, I'll be soaking up the sun on beautiful beaches, diving into the vibrant local culture, and maybe even trying my hand at surfing (wish me luck!). From the bustling streets of Sydney to the laid-back vibes of Byron Bay, every stop promises something new and
amazing.

And guess what? My Reef footwear is going to be right by my side! Whether I’m hiking through lush national parks or just wandering around new cities, my Reefs are going to be my trusty companions, keeping me comfortable and ready for anything.

Once I've had my fill of Aussie adventures, I’m heading over to Japan. I can’t wait to experience the perfect blend of tradition and modernity. From the neon-lit streets of Tokyo to the serene temples in Kyoto, and let’s not forget the mouth-watering sushi! It's going to be an unforgettable journey.
